How many uses are there for Natural Groom?
Natural Groom is really a three-in-one product. It's proprietary coconut oil formulation works beautifully as a low foaming, wash-off shampoo. Or, you can leave Natural Groom on your horse to take advantage of its coat and skin conditioning properties. And, finally, our customers rave about its ability to soothe the skin and aid in its ability to heal from fly bites, midges, ticks or other environmental irritants.

How do I apply Natural Groom?
Natural Groom is sold in both a ready-to-use formulation or in concentrate. The concentrate is mixed at a 2:1 ratio, or two parts water to one part Natural Groom concentrate. Natural Groom is available in both gallons and quarts of ready-to-use and concentrate.

Natural Groom can be sponged or sprayed on your horse and immediately washed off as a shampoo, or sponged on and left on the horse for skin and coat conditioning. By leaving the Natural Groom on your horse, you are also creating a barrier against environmental irritations. Natural Groom also comes in a ready-to-use quart bottle with a spray top. Our customers tell us that the spray top quart is best for spot treatments and adds soothing protection during a trail ride for both the horse and rider.

How long do the Natural Groom effects last on my horse?
Our customers tell us that the product need only be applied lightly every 2 to 3 days. However, this all depends upon how active you are with your horse. A horse that is worked regularly during the summer and is washed down frequently may require more frequent applications. Spot applications can be made daily on very irritated areas.

We have also heard that once you start to use Natural Groom, the dirt seems to come off your horse more easily as if a protective barrier against dirt is created with the Natural Groom.

Is Natural Groom safe for my sensitive skinned horse?
Absolutely. Natural Groom is very gentle and can be used on even the most sensitive skinned horses. It is also gentle enough to apply around the eyes, in and around the ears and on the muzzle.

Will Natural Groom cure rain rot?
Natural Groom does not cure rain rot because this is a problem caused by a bacterium. Natural Groom is not a fungicide or claim to be a medicine. However, the coconut oils will act to soothe the irritations and itching caused by rain rot and it may promote faster re-growth of hair in those irritated areas.

How long has Natural Groom been on the market?
Natural Groom was introduced to the market one year ago, however, its patented proprietary coconut ingredients have been used in other exceptional hair and skin care products since the mid 1990's.

Why should I use Natural Groom over the other shampoos and skin products?
There are many so called "Natural" horse shampoos and skin and coat conditioners on the market, but we at Natureza are committed to producing the most gentle and effective horse grooming products available. Our products do not contain any fragrance or harsh chemicals. We use a special blend of coconut oils that we believe to be the best product for skin and coat conditioning. And, we have no soaps in our products that can act to dry your horse's skin. Natural Groom is so safe and gentle that you can use it on yourself and your pets.

In addition to these wonderful benefits to your horse's coat and skin, our customers rave about the fact that their horses appear less susceptible to skin irritations when Natural Groom remains on the hair. So, why not use a shampoo and skin and coat conditioner that has no odor and remains gentle and safe to use while acting as a "coating of comfort" for your horse.

Can I use Natural Groom as a show sheen?
Yes, you most certainly can because the coconut oils in Natural Groom leave the coat shiny and healthy. We do not recommend applying Natural Groom under your saddle because this may produce a slippery surface that could lead to your saddle shifting as you ride.

Why is Natural Groom a low foaming shampoo?
We have left the foaming agents out of Natural Groom because these act to dry your horse's skin. We developed a shampoo that is effective and gentle and that won't dry the skin no matter how often you use the product. Be assured however that Natural Groom is cleaning even though there is not a great deal of suds.
